As a health coach with experience working across diverse populations, companies, and age groups, my passion for helping people has only deepened over time. I have always found joy in connecting with individuals, understanding their unique needs, and empowering them to take charge of their health. This love for people and the desire to make a lasting impact on their well-being inspired me to expand my professional journey and become a nurse practitioner in family medicine.

My commitment to embracing an upstream approach to health is at the core of my practice. I firmly believe in seeing people as they are—accepting them without judgment, recognizing their strengths, and working together to enhance their overall quality of life. This holistic view allows me to cultivate deeper connections with my patients, fostering trust and collaboration. I am driven by the understanding that health is not just the absence of disease but the presence of physical, mental, and emotional balance. It is about finding gratitude in my work and taking a compassionate, mindful approach to each individual’s care.
I am in the New Graduate Residency Program at UC Davis, which provides a unique and invaluable opportunity to build a solid foundation in clinical and evidence-based practice. Through this program, I plan to continue expanding my knowledge and skills, gaining hands-on experience, and learning from seasoned practitioners across different specialties. I aim to find inspiration and growth within these specialized areas, believing that I will uncover “gold” in the bigger picture of healthcare. I am excited about the potential to integrate both the science and art of medicine.
While new to nursing and advanced practice, I am open to exploring various aspects of family medicine, community health, and beyond. My ultimate goal is to contribute meaningfully to a system that propels us forward, working collaboratively to create healthier communities. I remain adaptable and committed to professional growth, trusting that every experience—whether in family medicine, specialty care, or community health—will deepen my understanding of the complexities of health and wellness.
I look forward to the future, knowing that my work will continue to be guided by my core values of empathy, respect, gratitude, and being the happy little clam I am. 🌻
