A fun little section I have been slowly, slowly (maybe a bit too slowly) working on: stories about some of the people I’ve had the privilege of meeting along the way — patients, fellow healthcare workers, and people from all sorts of different walks of life.

It’s my small way of expressing admiration and appreciation for the people I encounter, and for the stories they carry with them. So often one person’s story can reflect something much bigger — themes of resilience, loss, hope, connection, purpose, struggle, kindness...the wonderfully complicated experience of being human.

 

As a recovering perfectionist, however, it may take me a little while to get this project truly off the ground. I want to make sure I do it thoughtfully and, above all, respectfully — because these are their stories, not mine. Just a grateful observer over here.
